Our 240 acre farmstead has all the room you would need for any type of stay. A long weekend away, an extended stay, family gathering, day or weekend retreat, family reunion, etc... We have the space to accommodate it all, plus whatever you have in tow! Our renovated modern farmhouse has accommodation for up 10 with amenities. We also have 2 more primitive "camping cabins" that are available for an additional feel. Each would have room for an additional 10 people but bedding would be needed. Our farmstead offers a lot in the way of relaxation. If you prefer a campfire and conversation versus a TV and a video game, we are up your alley - we actually don't even have a TV... If a long walk on a quiet country road interests you, we have miles of them for you! If falling asleep to the sound of wind blowing through oak trees is more appealing to you than the sound of the neighbors TV through the hotel wall, come check us out. Nature is abundant here. Deer, waterfowl, wild turkeys, pheasants, sand hill cranes and others are daily visitors. A busy traffic day is a couple of cars per hour going by! If you enjoy, or haven’t heard the absolute silence of nature, you will really like unwinding here. If you need a little more to do, there is a horseshoe pit on site, tree swings for the kids, and multi level tree house are all options for people as well. There is room to set up and play about any game you would want to bring as well on our property. Our area offers many things to do during all seasons. Green Lake is the centerpiece of our area in all 4 seasons. The closest boat launch is just 2.5 miles from our farmstead. There is ample room for any and all boat parking on our land as well. Our area boasts a number of other lakes that all over something differently. If bicycling is your thing, the Glacial Lakes Trail system offers miles and miles of scenic routes through the area. Sibley State Park is 10 miles away with a plethora of outdoor activities to do as well. Our New London - Spicer area is widely known for its shopping and boutiques, with something for everyone. Food and drink is aplenty in our area as well. If dining out isn’t your thing, feel free to spend the evening in at the farmstead and make your own meal in the kitchen, on the grill, or over the campfire. A little more about our house…. The main house dates back a hundred plus years with an addition that has decades on it also. It has been many years since tractors worked the earth and animals were raised there. Time for something new! We have updated it with a modern clean style in mind. The kitchen is all new and simple. A buffet style table with benches on the back side can easily seat 10 and is a great gathering spot. It’s worth telling you up front though – we don’t have a dishwasher – it is you! Our living room overlooks the fields to the south. 7 or 8 can sit in the area comfortably. A sectional sofa contains a queen bed and would have room for kids on either side of Mom and Dad if they so desired. The main level has the master bedroom, which also has a queen bed. A steep stairway – very common for a house of this age – takes you up to the other 3 rooms. It is a very unique area featuring authentic shiplap and wide plank floors. 3 cozy bedrooms are up there. 2 rooms contain queen beds, although you have to walk through one to get to the other. The 3rd room is perfect for kids with a set of bunks at the top of the stairs. Our cabins are pretty simple and a 30 second walk from the main house. Both are able to sleep up to 10 people depending on the arrangements you want. We have mattresses for up to 10 per cabin, but the rest is up to you. No running water in them, but they can be heated, cooled and have refrigerators. You will enjoy your time here. We know that. We have a little bit of something for everyone in a beautiful little part of the state. We hope you choose to come see us! Two cozy cabins for rent, nestled on the North Shore of beautiful Green Lake in Spicer, MN. The water here is crystal clear and shallow with a sand lake bottom; perfect for swimming and children. The rocks in the pictures are there to support the retaining wall. We prefer to rent weekly, but if you are looking for a shorter timeframe, please send us a message. The property owners occupy the lake facing cabin ("Cabin 1"). Your group will have full access to the back two cabins ("Cabin 2” and "Cabin 3"). The cabins are always rented together. Each cabin as a full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. These little cabins are clean, comfortable, and cozy. Each cabin has air conditioning. The back two cabins sleep 8 people in beds. Cabin 2 has two bedrooms, sleeping 5 people in beds – the first with a queen bed and the second with twin bunks plus a twin bed. Cabin 3 has one bedroom, sleeping 3 people in beds – a full bed and a twin bed. Consider this a mini-resort experience as the property owners may be swimming and boating during your stay. Green Lake is a 5500 acre lake known for its water clarity and great recreation and fishing. Restaurant on Lake (Zorbaz) that you can drive your boat to. Located 90 miles west of the Twin Cities. This rental is our guest house that we are offering for weekday rentals only. Arrive anytime after 8 am Monday morning and depart by 12 noon Friday. Our new home is on the property as shown on one of the photos. There is no access to our home, just the guest house. Think of this as being very similar to a hotel room. There is no kitchen but there is a microwave and small dorm style/size refrigerator. Sleeping for 4-6 in two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A/C in bedrooms. 70 foot dock to use for great swimming beach, hard sand bottom. This is one of the best swimming beaches on the entire lake, located on the south side of Green Lake near the Bible Camp. There is a lakeside fire pit for evening camp fires. Welcome to Splashing Rock Cottage. We offer weekly rentals of this vintage cottage. Many updates and renovations have been completed and we are excited to share it with you. This is formerly one of the cabins of The Old Mill Inn. The Old Mill Inn was one of the last resorts on Green Lake in Spicer, MN. Each cottage has been recently sold into private ownership. Almost all of the cabins were built in the 1940s and have been allowing lake enthusiasts to enjoy the lake ever since. This cabin sits on Green Lake, just off a spillway from Nest Lake. The fishing in the spillway boasts many walleye and bass, just waiting for you and a pole. The view from the deck is a perfect thing to watch as you relax or read your favorite book.

Thanks for your interest! This is a great property for a family reunion or group of friends to enjoy a week at the lake together! The property has a very large lot with privacy. There are great views of the lake from almost every room. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds and 2 bedrooms with queen beds. One bedroom with a twin bed. The loft has 3 twin beds and a queen bed and a the bunk house has 2 sets of bunk beds. Please note that during the winter months the bunk house is not available so it sleeps 14 during the winter months. The dock and boat lift will be put in about May 8, 2020 and will be removed around October 15, 2020. You won't have to bother hauling Kayaks, paddle boards corn hole game boards, or a floating swim mat they are included for a small charge. There is also an air hockey table in the basement. In addition, during the winter months you will not have to pay the equipment fee. I will adjust the quote and remove this fee during the non-swimming months. Rentals are generally for a 2 night minimum. The check-in is at 4 pm and check out is by 10 am. There is flexibility during the the non-summer months.

We like to call this paradise! The main cabin includes a solarium for bird watching and hand hewn rock fireplace. Beautifully landscaped with fire pit, swing and decking overlooking the lake. The guest house includes a jetted tub, game room and its' own private deck. Bunkhouse is great for kids or those who want privacy. All three have heat, AC and internet and direct tv. Gazebo has hot tub available year round. The front lawn is big enough for lawn games or just hanging out. Two youth kayaks and a twenty foot canoe come with the property. Fishing for northerns, walleyes and panfish are good right off the dock. Swim off the end of the dock or simply head around the corner for sandy public beach. This is a great, private property on the lake even when the lake front isn't open for use. Really easy access via the Hwy 71 frontage road. This is a great place to hang out while in town visiting family or celebrating holidays, to stay when you're in the area for business, or if you are just traveling through on Highway 12 or Highway 71. If you have ice fishermen in the family, it could be a great place for them too. You can also feel good about renting our place as we donate 10% of our income from our rentals to several charities. **A couple of notable house rules: SMOKING No smoking of any kind anywhere on the property.
